Dolly Parton on Leadership

Megan Hartline —  March 10, 2016 — 1 Comment

“If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are an excellent leader.”

– Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton announced a new tour (the first in decades) and I could not be more excited. Dolly is pure inspiration, and not just for her ability to tug at my heartstrings while pulling off sequin-encrusted jumpsuits. In 1996 she founded a nonprofit organization called Imagination Library, which sends monthly books to keep to children in their homes.

Promoting literacy through direct action? Now that’s an inspiring legacy.

Giving back has always been important to Dolly! Hope you get to see her on this tour.
